PRACTICE POLICIES

Practice Philosophy and Mission

At Dentistry for Children we provide highly-personalized, comprehensive dental care for infants, children and adolescents. Our team members create unique and positive experiences during every interaction, inspiring good dental hygiene habits that continue into adulthood. We create beautiful smiles that last a lifetime. (And, we’re fun!)

Appointments

Your appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We know that unforeseen circumstances may require that you miss your appointment from time to time. We kindly ask that you notify us at least 48-hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time so that we may offer the time to another patient in need of our care. Please review our Scheduling Policy for details regarding cancellations and failed appointments.

Due to the individual needs of each patient and the varying duration of appointments and procedures, we ask that you call 320.257.3380 to schedule your appointment so that we can find a time that best suits the patient. Our scheduling team can be reached Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Each location varies in clinical hours, so please note this when calling in to schedule. We have four convenient locations throughout central Minnesota to provide access to care.

Insurance and Financing

At Dentistry for Children we offer several payment options to ensure you have access to care. Please review our Financial Policy for details regarding benefits and payment.

Dental Insurance

We accept and submit to most dental insurance plans and are happy to help answer questions about your claims and coverage. If you provide current insurance information, we will file your dental claim as a courtesy to you. Some insurance companies cover only a portion of your visit. Please review your policy and benefits before your appointment so you are fully aware of any limitations. Although we are happy to help you estimate your share of treatment costs, we do not have a contract with your insurance company and can never guarantee what your insurance will or will not cover on each claim. Payment for your portion is due on the day of your visit. After we receive payment from your insurance company, any remaining balance is due as soon as you receive your statement.

Finance Options

We want every child to have a happy and healthy smile, which is why our office offers several easy and flexible payment options. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, Apple Pay and most major credit cards. We also offer two, low- and no-interest financing plans through CareCredit and Sunbit.

Payment

We now offer the option to pay your bill online. Click here to be redirected to our payment site.

Patient Rights and Responsibilities

We are your best source of information about your dental health and want you to feel comfortable about your dental care. Maintaining healthy teeth and gums means more than just brushing and flossing every day and visiting your dentist regularly. As an informed dental patient, it also means knowing what you can expect from your dentist and dental care team and understanding your role and responsibilities in support of their efforts to provide you with quality oral health care.

Your Patient Rights and Responsibilities do not establish legal entitlements or new standards of care, but are simply intended to guide you through the development of a successful and collaborative dentist-patient relationship.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy outlines how health information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can gain access to
this information. Please review it carefully. The privacy of your health information is important to us.
