The team at Dentistry for Children is thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest dentist, Dr. Mitchell Loeb. Dr. Loeb will be joining our team all the way from Portland, Oregon, this summer!
Originally from Leawood, Kansas, Dr. Loeb received his Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University. After graduating from KSU, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating with special distinction in prosthodontics and restorative clinical sciences. From there, he completed a three-year residency in Prosthodontics in Minneapolis, while simultaneously defending his Master of Science from the University of Minnesota. Following the completion of his Prosthodontic training, Dr. Loeb pursued his passion of serving children and completed a second specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University.
Dr. Loeb is continuously learning and making waves within the dental industry. Alongside his many educational achievements, he holds professional accolades and leadership positions that have propelled him forward in his career. While completing both his Prosthodontic and Pediatric Dental Residency, Dr. Loeb served as the Chief Resident. He is also board-certified from the American Board of Prosthodontics and one of three dual-specialists in Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry in the country!
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Loeb is an outdoor enthusiast, often spending his time skiing, hiking, running, or golfing. He also enjoys the occasional espresso, animated movie, and Harry Potter. Dr. Loeb is excited to be back in Minnesota and serving the Central Minnesota community with Dentistry for Children.
