When Nicole’s co-workers describe her, they use words like “organized,” “friendly,” “reliable,” and “respectful.” These qualities, along with a bachelor of science degree from St. Cloud State University and more than twelve years of customer service experience, make her the perfect fit for our business manager position. In this role, Nicole processes insurance claims and assists parents with account and insurance questions.
“I was the very first receptionist at Dentistry for Children when I started in January 2005. I knew nothing about dentistry,” says Nicole, laughing. “To this day, I am still amazed by our doctors and staff. Their ability to get apprehensive children to cooperate and leave with smiles takes special talent.”
The most influential person in her life? “My husband Nathan,” replies Nicole without hesitation. “He’s my best friend. I would not be who I am today without him.”
In addition to parenting two young girls who keep them busy with school activities and dance recitals, Nicole and Nathan pour a ton of love into their Etsy shop, which offers rustic signs handmade from pallet wood. Although a hobby at first, sign making very quickly became a side business—one inspired by their mutual enjoyment of nature, Nathan’s handy carpentry skills, and Nicole’s passion for creating warm, welcoming spaces.
A native of Minnesota, Nicole is a “HUGE” Vikings fan and never misses a game. She also loves traveling, eating pizza (no lettuce for this girl!), and spending time all year around at the family cabin.
