Dr. Dennis Carreras, DMD

He completed his Hospital Residency at Hurley Medical Center and Mott Children’s Health Center in Flint, Michigan.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Dennis has successfully completed accredited training and voluntary examinations, demonstrating unique knowledge and skill at a standard not usually possessed by other dentists. He is also a published author with articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and other publications. Prior to moving to St. Cloud in 1997, Dr. Dennis worked for seven years as a United States Air Force pediatric dentist, serving in Japan and Germany. He also served as a special consultant to the Surgeon General both in the Pacific and European Command. In 2009, Dr. Dennis began teaching as an adjunct professor in the Pediatric Dentistry Program at the University of Minnesota. In 2011, he was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Fellowship in the College is by invitation only and is granted in recognition of a dentist’s outstanding professional achievement. Born in New York City, Dr. Dennis is fluent in both English and Spanish. In his spare time, he volunteers with Give Kids a Smile and enjoys traveling, baseball, basketball, cycling, arts and music.
Dr. Mitchell Kramer, DDS
Dr. Mitch earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He spent two years at Children’s Hospital Omaha where he received extensive training treating patients under general anesthesia as well as in traditional clinical settings.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Mitch comes from a large family of dedicated and driven dental professionals. With a grandfather, two uncles, several cousins and a sister all practicing in the field of dentistry, you might even say dentistry is in his blood. From an early age, Dr. Mitch knew he wanted to be a dentist too, but it wasn’t until his pediatric rotation that he discovered his strong passion for working with children. When Dr. Mitch isn’t practicing dentistry he’s likely with his family or friends. Biking, hiking, golfing, spending time on the water and winter skiing are some of his favorite activities.
Dr. Casey earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He spent two years at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Children’s Hospital of Iowa treating patients under general anesthesia as well as in traditional clinical settings.
A member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Casey has had extensive training in treating patients with special health care needs. Throughout his residency he received additional training in treating patients with neurodevelopment and related disabilities. Dr. Casey takes pride in treating every patient like he or she was his own and patients that need a little extra time and attention hold a special place in his heart.
When Dr. Casey isn’t practicing dentistry you will likely find him outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and taking his Labrador Retriever, Jasmine, out to chase ducks and pheasants are some of his favorite outdoor activities. In addition to spending time in the great outdoors, traveling and exploring new food scenes with his wife, Jenna are a few other activities he enjoys.
Your appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing your appointment. When that happens, we request a 24-hour notice, if possible, so that we may offer the time to another patient in need of our care. Children often feel more comfortable at the dentist’s office when they’re able to observe the behavior of peers. That’s why our clinic uses an open treatment room for routine care. Our dentists believe younger patients (preschool) should be seen in the morning when they are more rested and when staff can dedicate additional time to relieving their fears.
Payment & Financing
We want every child to have a happy, healthy smile, which is why our office offers many easy and flexible payment options. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and most major credit cards. We also offer low- and no-interest financing plans through CareCredit.
If you provide all of your current insurance information, we will file your dental claim as a courtesy to you. Some insurance companies cover only a portion of your visit. Please review your policy and benefits before your appointment so you are fully aware of any limitations. Although we are happy to help you estimate your share of treatment costs, we do not have a contract with your insurance company and can never guarantee what your insurance will or will not cover on each claim. Payment for your portion is due on the day of your visit. After we receive payment from your insurance company, any remaining balance is due as soon as you receive your statement.
